Let’s Talk Staffordshire Website
This is your chance to help shape the future of Staffordshire County Council’s website.
Over the next six months, we’ll be making big changes to our website. This is a great opportunity to improve how it works and feels. We want you – the people of Staffordshire – to help guide those changes and co-design the new website with us.
Our goals for the website:
· Make it as accessible as possible
· Keep information easy to find and up to date
· Use clear and consistent layouts, so you know what to expect
What we've done so far:
· Worked with council teams to check their webpages are still needed and accurate. Old or unused pages will be removed. This work will continue even after we launch the new system.
· Ran a survey to ask residents what they like and don’t like about the current website.
· Spoke to people at the County Show in May to hear their thoughts in person.
· Set up a resident engagement group to help us design the new website and its content.
· Gathered feedback from partners such as NHS staff and local community groups, who also use our site regularly.
· Started working with staff who write content, to make sure everything is clear and consistent.
What happens next?
The survey is now closed. We’re reviewing all your answers and looking for common themes. These ideas will help shape our first draft of the new website. When it’s ready, we’ll ask for feedback from residents, partners and staff.
We’ll keep sharing updates here on Let’s Talk Staffordshire.
There are still lots of ways to get involved!
