Burton Fields School Street
We have been working with Burton Fields School to develop their school travel plan to make it safer at drop-off and pick-up time and to encourage walking, wheeling, scooting and cycling for the school commute.
Burton Fields School are well engaged with us and were interested in trialling and piloting a School Street.
What is a School Street?
A School Street limits the motorised traffic outside schools at drop-off and pick-up times, allowing safer and healthier spaces where children, parents/ guardians, school staff and residents can walk, wheel, cycle, scoot or park and stride with less risk of air pollution and traffic congestion.
