Consultation has concluded
Have your say…
Staffordshire County Council is responsible for ensuring that support is provided for people with drug and alcohol problems in the county. We are currently considering how best to provide services in future and would like to get your views.
Our preferred option is to enter into a Section 75 Agreement with the Midlands Partnership University Foundation Trust (MPFT) to provide drug and alcohol treatment alongside other services such as mental health, learning disability and adult social care, which will make it easier for people to get the help they need.
The Council and MPFT are today launching a public consultation on a Section 75 Agreement. This will run until Friday 05 January 2024 and we are keen to get your views.
The proposals do not include any plans to make any budget cuts or change service locations.
