Safe Space
The Safe Space in Newcastle Town Centre is open on Friday nights from 9pm-2am. The space is ran by to provide a 'safe space' for anyone who needs help as part of the night time economy. We offer hot drinks, a place to wait for a lift, charging phones and lots of other community safety related goodies. We are still looking for volunteers so if you are interested in volunteering then please get in touch.

Parish Councillor
Parish Councils rely on volunteers to join them. Councillors ensure that funding is spent at a local level to support the issues that are important to their parish community. They can make sure that the best decisions are made for the Parish by the Parish. They have input on planning decisions, can fund local initiatives and find out what is best for their community.
School Governor
Schools rely on volunteers to sit on their governing body. It is a very rewarding experience. Governors learn a lot but also have a lot of skills and expertise to share with the schools. Co Opted Governors can add community input to help the school support its community as well as the community supporting the school.
